Rosborough is an Americana/indie/country artist from Derry who has already gathered a considerable fan base and some critical acclaim. I've been listening to his back catalogue of late and I'm really enjoying the diversity of sound from his earlier singles and The Paper Boats EP, to the debut album, Every Memory. There's something for everyone in there, from indie and alternative rock to country and soul. He's an exceptional songwriter and has the voice to bring his writing to life in an emotional and vibrant way.

Rosborough has just released a new single called "John Candy". From the first listen, I felt myself smile as I knew I'd discovered a gem. I felt the comfort of a warm blanket or a hot cup of tea that my cold bones badly needed. I felt like I was hearing a young Dylan. The song certainly feels like it was written in an emotional moment of self therapy when artists often create something special.

It really is a special song and I'd highly recommend everyone go check it out!

In the words of Rosborough,

"I wrote the song snowed-in with my wife after finding out my dad had cancer. We’d just watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles — that moment where Del reveals his wife has passed really hit me like a ton of bricks. The track’s about holding onto and appreciating moments in life that are all too fleeting."
