Good Swim is the latest project from Belfast artist Dave McConnell (who previously recorded under the name Timberwolves). After a 12-year break from recording, Good Swim now have a full-length album on the way, with the intriguing title 'The Mountains Sure Don't Give A Damn About The Sea'.
Paper Tiger is the lead single from the album. I really liked it on first listen, but I like it more every time I hear it. It's a very relaxing and easy listen track which features a great melody delivered by silky smooth vocals and soothing acoustic guitar. The overall production is great, with extra atmospheric touches to bring a simple song to life while retaining its organic charm. Overall, I'm really impressed with Good Swim and will most certainly be checking out the full album when it releases.
